Welcome

Hi, I'm Samantha. I offer a warm, gentle and deeply empathetic space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. Together, we'll make sense of what you're going through and find ways forward at your pace.

I work with adults, children and young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief and loss, neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD, Tourette's) and more.

Sessions available in-person (Barton-upon-Humber) and online across the UK.

Who Can Benefit

Therapy is open to anyone looking for support - including children (with consent), young people, adults, and older adults.

Everyone's experience is unique - therapy can help with emotional challenges and mental health, such as (but not limited to):

  • Anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout
  • Low confidence, self-esteem, and self-harm
  • Relationship challenges
  • Trauma, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, and abuse
  • Grief, loss, and loneliness
  • Complex emotions and early emotional experiences
  • Neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD) and living with a disability/long-term condition
  • Caring responsibilities
  • Bullying and LGBTQ+

If there's something specific you need to make therapy more accessible, we can try to find a way that works for you.

What You Can Expect

I'm an integrative, person-centred counsellor. That means you set the pace and focus, while I draw from approaches that fit your needs, including:

  • Person-centred therapy
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness
  • Humanistic approaches
  • Creative therapy

You can choose short-term, focused therapy or open-ended sessions. We'll regularly check in to make sure sessions continue to meet your needs.

Our First Session Together

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and it's completely understandable to feel unsure.

Most people don’t know exactly where to start - and that's okay. The first session is simply a space to begin wherever you are.

There's no pressure to have the right words or know what to say. Together, we'll take things at your pace and find what feels most helpful for you.
